Jim Leatherwood is a founding Managing Partner at Silver Oak Commercial Realty, contributing to its establishment in 2011. With a career spanning over two decades, Jim has honed his expertise in site selection, acquisitions, dispositions, pad site sales and leasing, and tenant representation. His journey in real estate commenced with Henry S. Miller in 2001, where he cultivated a foundation of skills marked by creativity, determination, and extensive market knowledge.

Jim’s unwavering dedication and passion for real estate have propelled him to excel in assisting clients at every juncture of the deal process. From meticulous site selection to comprehensive market planning, and adept negotiation of contracts and leases, Jim’s commitment ensures optimal outcomes for his clients.

Throughout his career, Jim has collaborated with numerous investors, national developers, and retailers, including Dollar General, Caliber Collision, QuikTrip, O’Reilly Auto Parts, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, The Cash Store, and Burger King, among others.

Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship from the University of North Texas. He is an esteemed member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the North Texas Association of Realtors (NTCAR), where his contributions further enrich the real estate community.
